Draft Watch – Sleeper Safety

Per Aaron Wilson:

“Arkansas State safety Don Jones has private workouts with the Browns, Dolphins, Patriots and Eagles. Has 42-inch vertical leap, 4.40 speed”

Jones is small at 5-11, 191. That size makes him more of a FS type.  Probably a late round pick.

Someone needs to start banging the drum for Richmond’s Cooper Taylor. At 6’5 228, with a 4.46 forty, who consistently shows up on film, making plays against the run and the pass. Lots of interesting sleepers to discuss, but Cooper Taylor needs to be in the mix.

Is it me or are the Browns always one of the other teams mentioned when the Eagles are checking out a player. Interesting.
