The Eagles didn’t have any huge plays. There were no runs or passes of 40 or more yards. But the Eagles did have some good chunk plays. They definitely weren’t grinding out yards 3 at a time.
Teams define explosive plays different ways. #Eagles had league-high 9 drives with at least one 10+ run or 20+ pass. Avg was 4 drives/tm.

It will be interesting to see this offense when the 40, 50 and 60 yard plays start happening.
i have a hard time imagining a 10 yard run as an ‘explosive’ play. its a great run, sure. but to me, explosive has a much stronger meaning than that.
i’m guessing that some guy at ESPN saw that the eagles had a lot of runs that went for 10, 11, 12 or so yards and sculpted this statistic to make the eagles offense look ‘explosive’.
