Recently South Carolina RB Marcus Lattimore tweeted about eating a cheesesteak while in Philly. We wondered if he was there to visit the Eagles or for some other reason.
Per this article, Lattimore was indeed visiting the Eagles. You may wonder why the team would be investigating a RB with such good depth already there. This is the Eagles doing their due diligence. If Lattimore falls far enough, he is too good a value to pass up. What is that point? How is his leg recovering? How do you value him?
If he does recover, Lattimore can be a good starting NFL runner. He’s not dynamic. The question is how much athleticism he retains, to go along with his size and power.
