Postseason Running

Saw an interesting tweet that got me to thinking.

Could this really be true? Yep.

Back in 2006, Brian Westbrook had 20 carries vs the Giants, but you have to go all the way back to 2000 to find a game when a RB had more than 20 carries. Who was that?

Chris Warren…remember him? He was a late addition to the team and a good fit down the stretch. There were a few games when Duce Staley had 18 carries. Westy had 18 carries in a playoff game. But no one after Warren had more than 20.

This was a huge point of frustration with Andy Reid. He had gifted runners, but just wouldn’t run the ball. Chip Kelly can have the same number of RBs with more than 20 carries in a playoff game as Andy Reid after just one game. Is that crazy or what?
