Chase Stuart of Football Perspective wrote a piece that evaluated drafts from 2000 to 2007. Stuart’s formula had the Eagles ranked as the #10 team in the NFL. The Eagles were #1 in 2002. They were 4th in 2005. Other years weren’t so great.
The 2 best teams…the Chargers and Colts. The worst teams…the Raiders and Lions.
The best season was Dallas in 2005. They drafted DeMarcus Ware, Marcus Spears, Jay Ratliff, Chris Canty, Kevin Burnett, and Marion Barber. That’s a kinda decent draft class. Eagles fans should be very happy that Bill Parcells didn’t stay in Dallas.
