It won’t shock me if they take Fisher. I’ve said for a while that I could see Andy Reid loving him. Jordan makes no sense. The Chiefs have Tamba Hali and Justin Houston. My bet is that the Chiefs are leaking that name in hopes that the Jaguars or Eagles love him and deal up. KC would love to get back another pick. They won’t land the 2nd that they dealt for Alex Smith, but anything else will help them continue to rebuild.
Not to mention Andy has never been high on linebackers! My thinking is that we have a 50/50 shot at picking Jordan. My hunch is CK either loves him or doesn’t. He knows exactly what he can do. As much as I’m with Andy when it comes to taking linebackers early (I’m not a fan of it), if CK takes him that will tell me he must be special. And I trust CK like you do (as in, “I trust him….for now”).
Dion Jordan wouldn’t be viewed as a “LBer” in the same sense as ARs previous LBers though. He would be a 3-4 outside LBer which is a lot closer to a 4-3 DE than anything else, and AR loved DEs.
Having said that, I do agree that the Cheifs are most likely looking at Fisher or Joeckel at #1.
Yeah, I’m kind of convinced it’s one of the tackles, whichever he likes better.
They dropped Winston and in all likeliness will trade Albert, I agree that it has to be a tackle.
